Windy Tuesday....

Well today the wind is blowing 65 mph, isn't it fun living in Wyoming? NOT. If I could I would move in a heart beat! Wind makes me crabby, so fucking snow already! Not much to blog about today, work is keeping me so busy I haven't had a spare moment to think of a blog for today. I tried to do a blog about everyone's firsts but a lot of you didn't want to join in. ;0( So I guess that list will go by the waste side. I get some good emails that are keepers, and I have gotten this poem several times and I thought I would share it. Just so you know there is no way to keep track of how many times an email is passed around so I don't believe this email poem was shared by a doctor nor do I believe a young girl with cancer wrote it, and just for note if you forward an email that promises money for how many times you email it that won't happen either! And further on that note chain emails that wish me bad luck if I don't pass them on are a crock too, I have a wonderful life and believe me I don't pass them on so as for the bad luck promised I call bullshit on that! If they are a good emails with something fun in them I choose to delete the ill fortune at the bottom and then pass it along. Have you ever gone to UrbanLegends.com or snoops.com, well next time you get one of these emails about making money on email, or an email that is being counted or if you sign this petition it will get to Washington, or even a missing child alert, check out these websites you would be surprised how many of these emails if not all of them are a hoax. And really if you forward a petition to 10 people on your list then that list is going all over the place and who is the person suppose to be that will forward it to the President and take out all the duplicated names and make sure the person signing this petition is a registered voter? I have never seen a time frame on these emails or a final email destination for these type of emails have you? ha-ha I guess I will get off my soap box and share the poem already. Hope you all have a good day! This poem covers the thought for the day, and I have to admit it really made me think. Love all around!
SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,'Hi'
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....Thrown away.
Life is not a race..
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
