Granny is out of the hospital. They sent her home Satuerday afternoon. She is still a lil unstable and she could definately be eating more, but I guess the doctors decided she could rest at home until the surgery is performed. No news on when that will be yet. My family and I are still spending much needed quality time with her whenever possible.
Our family actually got LOTS and LOTS of stuff done yesterday at our new house. We still have lots to go of course, but it sure felt like Christmas at our place this weekend! Dood got a lot of his toys back that he hasn't seen in over a year, and Dez finally got all her scrapbooking junk back too! The two best finds of the weekend...the GOOD, BIG screwdriver and the decrative shower curtains for the bathrooms! We kept saying that we were "playing house" cause we put so much away, DD cooked dinner one night and she even made cookies on Sunday! (DD hates the kitchen!)

Just so you know, I cooked BREAKFAST for dinner. Yes, I scrambled eggs, made hashbrowns and I even tried to cook bacon. Thankfully, Kelly came to the rescue, because that is the most disgusting thing that I have touched in years...GROSS!!!!!! I don't like to touch meat, EVER!!! Totally freaks me out. NASTY!!!!!
Never as good as your breakfast Michelle, but definately good for a first timer. I was so proud of myself and no one got sick or anything. I will keep practicing so I can cook when all the drunks crash at our house sometime. Missing you all! Smooches!! D.D.
I am glad granny can be home until surgery she is probably much happier there. D.D. you are funny. I will hand some of my receipes down I don't think there is any of them that you don't have to handle meat lol! Thanks for the compliment I love to cook breakfast! miss you both! M
