The Mii's partied and played!

This weekend was fun. The Wii has been a huge hit and I think we won't be having to take ours to other people's houses to enjoy it because I think everyone is buying one of their own! Talk about exercise! My shoulders hurt so bad from boxing I had to take Advil just to function on Saturday! Am I getting old or what? Friday night we had a ball at Theresa's, throwing darts and playing Wii. It was great having the whole gang there! We hadn't had Paula & Bobbie with us for a while so it was a great time since everyone was there. Pictures? NOPE can you believe it I didn't remember to take my camera! I need to pay attention! ha-ha Shit I still have to post the ones from my Vacation. I will get to those soon I promise! Saturday afternoon we met Scott, Derrick & Paula out for a few drinks at Old Chicago, thanks Scott for the invite & buying the drinks it was fun. Good Bloody Mary's!!!! Bobbie & Steve painted all day so I invited them over for dinner and for them to have some time to kick back after all the work they did all day. Paula was there as well and then Dd and Kel brought the kids over since she promised that the kids could play the Wii. So before we let the kids play all of us adults enjoyed making our own Wii in our likeness. All but Steve, damn if his Mii isn't the nerdiest thing you have seen! ha-ha Steve is always good for a laugh! Sunday we really took it easy. I was tired from a big weekend and a lack of sleep. We did finally have our Christmas dinner though since we missed out on that this Christmas. So all in all it was a great weekend. Here is to great friends! CHEERS!!!! Love all around!

Wii's Mii's were almost killed by Sean!

Happy Friday!!!!! Well last night Sean & Birdie came over to play Wii. We knew Sean would be hilarious playing the Wii! He lived up to our expectations that is for sure! Sean is so animated to begin with that when he played Wii we just died laughing. We started out with bowling and Sean threw his bowling ball backwards so many times the Mii's were almost killed! ha-ha Leave it to Seany. Now Sean kicked some serious ass in Wii tennis though! Now Sean is on a mission he has to have a Wii even if he has to drive to Glenrock! I am sure he will have a Wii by tonight. Well kids I put the challenge out there and Billy "O" said she was going to kick my ass in boxing, by the way I am undefeated in boxing! My back and arms might hurt from all my boxing matches but I will still take you DOWN Billy "O"! Billy "O" tried to slow me down by bringing me cheddar biscuits from Red Lobster but she still won't damage my game! I told her not to eat too many of those cheddar biscuits it might slow her up so she thought she would use that tactic against me! We will see girlie can you take down the boxing champion????? I think NOT! So we need a plan. Bobbie can only come over tonight because she will be painting tomorrow and Birdie wants to do it tomorrow night because she has CPR for 8 hours tomorrow so hmmmmm what night should we do it? Wii would like to play.....

Well my daughter, Randi has been bugging me for a Wii and she wasn't on her own so has Tim. So last night I caved. Randi has been calling every store in town for two days and she was elated that Target got several in. So after work Tim and I ran up to Target and bought the famous game system that has been sold out for two Christmas's in a row due to its popularity. Now some of you know I LOVE to play games, Tim and I have been known to sit and play our PS2 all day on occasion. So I was a little intrigued by this new game system. First we started off with bowling, that was fun. I use to bowl a lot and it was so realistic it was like really bowling. Tim kicked my ass the first time ever in bowling! He said he wished he was that good in real life! and Then we moved on to boxing now that was a work out!!!!! If you don't know what a Wii is it is more of an interactive game system where you hold the controllers in your hand but you have to do the actual movement that it requires to do the action on screen. This is not a game system for the faint of heart! So I was boxing my ass off and when I got to my 10th opponent I couldn't go on any further I was POOPED! Wow who needs aerobics? Tim was quite impressed with my Wii boxing ability I knocked out every opponent they gave me and most of them in the first round! Wow that made me feel like quite the fighter let me tell you! So then it was Tim's turn can you believe I was a better boxer then Tim? Well I was the Wii boxer beat Tim. So instead of maybe playing cards one night we will play Wii! We are going to get another controller tonight so then I can fight someone other then the computer opponent. Tim better look out! So is anyone ready for the challenge? Exercise can be fun! ha-ha! Hey all I missed you guys too! I am back at work today and I can imagine the catch up will keep me very busy for at least a week! I will try to get to the pics tonight so I can post them. I hope you all had a splendid New Years Eve! I wished I could of spent it with each and every one of you. I had a very nice dinner with Bobbie & Steve who invited us out and Launa & Mark joined us as well. We went to the Goose Egg Inn. Bobbie was exhausted from moving all day so they went home after dinner and Launa and Mark came over to the house and played cards until midnight. Dd & Kelly got tired on waiting for us and went to bed! Ha-ha! Theresa got stuck in Las Vegas last night because of flight cancellations and she won't be home until tonight sometime. So when we get the gang all back and settled down from the Holiday's we will all go out! Sorry not a long blog today but geez the amount of work I will be doing today I am sure I won't be able to think straight! Love all around.
